What's a GLICEE (or PRINT)? Giclées offers the art lover the same feel of an original painting!
A giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a high-quality reproduction print. The process of producing giclée prints begins with digitally scanning the original artwork which picks up every detail of the original – color, texture, down to the finest brush strokes. This ensures the integrity of the original artwork and an exact color matching technique producing over 500 shades of color with archival waterproof inks. The result is a lush, vibrant, and velvety-looking art print – one that has the feel and clarity of the original painting.
What you need to know about purchasing giclées
Giclées are professionally printed on 100% natural rag artist grade paper or canvas. The giclées available in martihand.com store are paper prints, and comes with a one inch white border around the picture. If you prefer giclées printed on canvas, contact us for further details.
In the martihand.com store, giclées are available in 2 sizes as seen in the "Add to Cart" below. The print sizes shown are percentages of the original size of the actual painting. For example, if an original painting is sized 18" x 18", then 75% is 13.50"x 13.50", 50% is 9.0"x9.0", and so on.

Your giclées are customed ordered, so there is no return and no refund policies on prints, notecards, original paintings or commissioned artwork. But rest assured, you will be thrilled with your purchase.
Please allow 1 - 1.5 weeks for custom printing and shipping of your order. All purchases are shipped with tracking.
Larger giclées are available upon request, up to the size of the original painting. For example, if the size of the original painting is 40x40 inches, you can order giclées that are 40x40 inches [100%], 30x30 inches [75%], 10x10 inches [25%]...basically any size you want.. Contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.

'Helping the Helpers' is a painting full of life and vigor. It makes me smile. The palette is fiery, yet without even a touch of red or orange. At the same time it is watery and ignites the image of the oceans floor with sunlight streaming from the heavens.
It is vibrant and soothing all at the same time. The blues, purples, greens and yellows bounce from lines to circles; some anchored, other floating upward, and outward toward the expanding world beyond. The central circular sphere draws me in to the depths of my unconscious, freeing me to go with the flow of this playful unknown space. Every helper needs a place to refuel and reenergize. The human psyche cannot give endlessly. It needs to rest, to float and be carried without effort or strain.
